GENERAL
What is Kappa Beta Connect?
Kappa Beta Connect is a private social networking app exclusively for Kappa Beta fraternity members, designed to foster connection, communication, and collaboration.
Who can join?
Only verified members of the Kappa Beta fraternity are eligible to join and use the app.
ACCOUNT & PROFILE
How do I update my profile?
Go to your profile page in the app and tap “Edit Profile” to update your information, photo, and social links.
How do I reset my password?
On the login screen, tap “Forgot Password?” and follow the instructions to reset your password via email.
How do I delete my account?
Please email us at support@kappabetaconnect.com with your request. We will process your deletion promptly.
POSTS & CONTENT
How do I create a post?
Tap the “+” button on the home feed to create and share a new post with the community.
How do I report inappropriate content?
Tap the “...” menu on any post or comment and select “Report.” Our team will review and take action within 24 hours.
How do I block another user?
Tap the “...” menu on a user’s post or profile and select “Block User.” You will no longer see their content.
EVENTS
How do I find upcoming events?
Events are displayed on the Home screen and in the Events tab. You can view all upcoming events and filter them by date or type.
How do I RSVP to an event?
Open an event and tap the “RSVP” button.
How do I add an event to my calendar?
When viewing an event, tap the calendar icon to add it to your device’s calendar. You can choose which calendar to add it to.
DIRECTORY
How do I search the member directory?
In the Directory tab, use the search bar to find members by name. You can also use filters to search by location, industry, or graduation year.
How do I filter the directory?
Tap the filter icon in the Directory tab to access filtering options. You can filter by location, industry, line number, initiation year, and more.
DONATIONS
How do I make a donation?
Tap the QR code icon in the top right of the Home screen to access our Cash App donation link ($kappabeta).
Are donations tax-deductible?
Please consult with your tax advisor regarding the deductibility of your donations.
